Challenge
As a renowned contemporary artist, Justine Mahoney needed a digital space that reflected the depth, symbolism, and storytelling of her sculptural work. The challenge was to design a personal website that balanced artistic expression with functionality—showcasing her portfolio, exhibitions, and creative philosophy while maintaining ease of navigation and editorial control.
Goal
To create a visually immersive yet highly manageable personal website that presents Justine’s artwork in a way that feels intimate, powerful, and true to her voice. The goal was to provide an elegant platform that supports both static content and evolving creative updates, enabling her to connect with curators, collectors, and fans effortlessly.
Solution
We designed a custom portfolio website built on a flexible CMS tailored for artists. The layout emphasizes visual storytelling—using full-screen visuals, minimal typography, and smooth transitions to let the art speak. The backend allows Justine to easily upload new works, write exhibition updates, and manage press content without needing technical assistance.
